It's almost impossible to comprehend that Mike is gone. He was always the one to get people together, start the party, make sure everyone was having a good time and so full of life and energy. My heart goes out to his family and his many friends. We went to Homecoming together our Senior Year. I think he felt sorry for me since I'd not been to the dance in the 3 previous years, It was so kind of him to step in. Although not a couple, we were always friends and I enjoyed his humor, good nature and enthusiasm for life.
So sad to here about Mike. He was such a good guy and so much fun. I remembered when he helped me practice when I was quarterback for the senior year powderpuff game.
What Megan wrote was so true. Mike was the one who made sure everyone was having a good time. I remember once when Mike had a bunch of us piled into his Mercury. Those that recall this car probably remember it had a retractable rear window. On this particular evening, there may have been TP involved and that open rear window came in handy. Several of the guys found it faster to load up through the open rear window than the doors. There was quite a tangle in the back seat but Mike got us out of there before someone’s father spotted us.
I had a lot of fun with Mike back in the day and I’m really glad we got to visit at the 40th. My sincerest condolences to his many friends and family.

I remember Mike from swim team. Definitely one of the nicest guys on our team. Very sad.
