Tom was my best friend. He lived 5 houses away on Russell St. He died in a skydiving accident in Sparta, IL a week after his 21st birthday. He would have been my brother-in-law as I married his sister Pat (PHS class of 73) 2 years after his death. He never knew we had twin daughters and another daughter that he would have been their uncle. It was his death that brought Pat and I back together. I still miss him and think of him often and on his birthday every year. It was the day before my other best friend, Paul Shively.
