I remember my great double "date" with Steve to Christmas Ball Senior year. We went with Barbara Janszen and Steve Emil. Fun night. Instead of going out to a restaurant after the dance, we went back to his house for a fondue party. We were all the height of 70's chic!

We sat next to one another in 5th grade in our classroom and biology lab.
Steve enjoyed freaking the class out by placing a frog in his mouth during the required dissection
lesson that every fifth grader encounters. There may be a picture of his boyish clowning in the yearbook.
Steve was a smart and confident person capable of cutting up too. He was both studious and fun.
Steve once allowed three or four of his classmates to copy his essay paper. The teacher called
all of our parents but knew, beyond a doubt, who authored the original paper.
I'm sorry to learn of Steve's passing. ~ R.I.P.
